LOT DESCRIPTION
Empire-Style Ormolu-Mounted Mahogany Desk, early 20th century, the rectangular brass-bound top with an inset leather writing surface, above a case fitted with a frieze drawer, flanked to either side by a bank of three drawers, raised on tapering square legs ending in ball feet, the whole richly ornamented with ormolu mounts and millwork. h. 31", w. 72", d. 34"

CONDITION REPORT
**In "as found" condition. The bronze framing around the top has dulled somewhat with age and has scattered areas of blotchiness. Stains, scuffs and scratches to the wood edge and leather blotter. The left side of the desk is slightly sun-faded. The drawers work fine and are clean. All of the ormolu mounts appear to be intact.
