Three-Piece Chinese Export Ch'ien Lung Mantel Garniture in the Famille Rose Palette, fourth quarter 18th century, the lobed vases decorated with Mandarin scenes framed with raised and scrolled edges on an orange "chicken skin" ground, trimmed with raised flowers, h. 11-1/2", w. 4-1/2" to 5-3/4", d. 2-3/4". Provenance: The Estate of James C. Westerfield, Jackson, Mississippi.


  • Condition: All three with gilt wear to the upper rim. One side vase with glaze wear to the foot. Middle vase with a 1/4" x 1/2" chip to the side of the foot, and a larger restoration to the corresponding side of the foot, now with losses.
