American Chippendale-Style Mahogany Tripod Table, early 20th century, the tilting circular top with a raised piecrust edge, above a birdcage support on a foliate-carved baluster standard to three splayed legs ending in ball-and-claw feet, the top of the standard stamped "Wallace Nutting", h. 30", dia. 33".

  • Condition: There is an obvious dark ring on the top and the surrounding area bleached by the sun. No signs of any other damage, losses or repairs. It appears that this sun fading may go deeper than the surface of the finish. The only label is the branded "Wallace Nutting" on the top of the bird cage. The latch works fine and the table operates well.
