American Coin Silver Medallion Goblet

third quarter 19th century, the ovoid body decorated with applied medallions of Minerva within engraved arabesques and below engraved egg-and-dart banding, raised on a waisted stem and ogee-domed foot, monogrammed "K".
h. 6", dia. 3-1/2"; 6.65 t. oz.

  • Condition: **There is a very faint mottled pattern in the silver throughout, probably the result of salt exposure and later professional restorations to remove the corrosion but preserve as much of the detail as possible. Otherwise, the piece is in quite good condition, with no dents, breaks or repairs noted. No maker's/purity marks.
