American Late Classical Mahogany Armoire, second quarter 19th century, Baltimore, the projecting cornice over a figural arched frieze, the pair of bisected paneled doors flanked by tapering figured pilasters with Ionic capitals, each side with a paneled door, on carved paw feet with like capitals, h. 87-1/2", w. 73-1/4", d. 26-1/2".


  • Condition: There are scattered veneer chips along the edges. Scuffs, dings and rubs from use. The center section is lacking its ceiling board. The side doors may need a little adjustment to their hinges. One hinge is half gone. Lacking interior shelves. Old finish with a rich patina.
