American Late Classical Mahogany Dressing Table, second quarter 19th century, Philadelphia, the rectilinear mirror plate in a conforming molded frame, raised on tapering columns joined to a base with shallow lift-top compartments, flanked by an inset marble, over a frieze drawer flanked by Gothic niches, on a well-carved pedestal joined to a concave platform base on carved paw feet, h. 70", w. 37-3/4", d. 23".
