American Rococo Revival Rosewood Double-Door Bookcase

third quarter 19th century, with an elaborate pierced and carved flower-basket crest flanked by large finials, above a pair of glazed doors and scalloped base, the interior fitted with adjustable shelves.

  • Condition: **In very good to excellent restored condition.

    The piece is very tight and solid. It exhibits minor mars, wear and dings beneath the finish.

    Doors open and close freely. A functional key accompanies the doors.

    The crest is replaced. The finials are original. The base is meticulously crafted to duplicate the base on an identical bookcase.
