Antebellum New Orleans Market Rosewood Triple-Section Armoire

third quarter 19th century, attributed to the New Orleans warerooms of William and James McCracken, in the transitional Late Classical into Rococo Revival style, the arched projecting cornice with characteristic beading, over a central section with a pair of arched and paneled doors, over a pair of drawers, flanked by paneled side doors, the scalloped apron on distinctive cabochon-carved feet.
