  • Condition: **Both in overall fair condition.
    Man in Top Hat: Overall toning of paper. Scattered areas of soiling/discoloration especially around figure's head, shoulder, chest and feet. Faint water stain to right of figure. Abrading/loss of paper at upper left in trees. Thin vertical stain at lower right. All consistent with age and usage.
    Man Before Window: Overall toning of paper. Areas of soiling/discoloration at mid-right above head, right of chest and along mid-right edge. Old repairs (re-attachment) of both legs below the knee with corresponding visible residue. Old circular repair at upper center edge with irregular surface and some loss. Small, scattered spots of fading to background and paper of silhouette. Losses to upper right corner.
