Baroque Carved, Ebonized and Painted Tabletop Cabinet, ca. 1700 and later, Dutch or Flemish, trimmed with rippled molding on the base, doors and crest, and mounted with pierced and incised pewter hinges and escutcheons, the interior drawers painted with flowers and pomegranates, lively scallops and beading, h. 13", w. 17", d. 12-1/2".


  • Condition: There is shrinkage throughout from age. Both sides have vertical shrinkage cracks. The moldings surrounding the doors also with separation from shrinkage. Minor dings and scuffs along the base and edges. Light flaking to the painted surface from age. No evidence of damage or losses. There is no key present.
