Belgian Mahogany and Gilt-Bronze Obelisk-Form Metronome, 20th century, in the Empire style, on gilt-bronze paw feet, with a neoclassical mount and flame finial, with a brass name plaque reading "Maison Du Jardin-Lammens, 34-36-38, Rue St. Jean, Bruxelles", h. 10-1/2", w. 5-1/2", d. 5-1/2".
- Condition: In overall very good condition. The piece appears to be functional and in working condition. There is a small void/hole in the finial due to a casting imperfection. The pendulum exhibits areas of oxidation to the silver-colored surface. The metronome kept a steady rhythm when run on the floor. We did not test to verify its accuracy.
