including William Hubard (1807-1862), "Scholar Wearing Mortarboard", stamped "Hubard Gallery" en verso and identified as "Henry Lewis Stephens/Whites at Oxford", heightened with gold; Auguste Edouart (French, 1789-1861), "Young Man with Curly Hair", Edouart's trade label en verso; "Man with Ponytail and Ruffled Shirt", identified en verso as "Samuel Horrocks" of Lark Hill House, Preston, co. Lancaster, M.P. for Preston (1766-1842); "Man with Curly Hair and Prominent Nose", heightened with gold; "Man with Sideburns", heightened with gold; and "Man with White Collar and Ruffled Shirt".
Each glazed and framed in similar ebonized frames with gilt-brass surrounds.
