Chinese Bronze Ritual Tripod Food Vessel (Ding)

possibly Eastern Zhou period (770-221 BC), having a compressed globular form, the body encircled with a single bow string band, with opposing upswept, squared handles, the slightly domed cover with three evenly spaced finials, the whole raised on three zoomorphic-form legs.
