Chinese Clair-de-Lune-Glazed Vase, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), 19th century, the porcelain jar with a globular body and phoenix-head-shaped lugs on either side, the center decorated with auspicious "Shou" symbols amid scrolling floral vines and bats, surrounded with a key-fret border, h. 9-1/2", dia. 9-1/2". Provenance: The collection of Gary Dryer, Dorr, Michigan.


  • Condition: In overall good condition. A few scattered firing anomalies. Inside foot rim has an old professionally filled crack and three chips that are not visible when the vase is displayed. Wear is consistent with age, material and display.
