  • Condition: **In overall good condition.
    Scattered rubbed losses to the intricate gilt decoration, primarily on the cover, with some minor rubbed losses to the outer-molded body and flared "skirt". The cover with nicks and dings to the octagonal outer points and a circular loss (approx. 1/4") at the upper edge. The locking mechanism slightly dented on top; the escutcheon oxidized.
    The raised lower "skirt" edge with scattered dings and small losses.
    The interior tray lined with aubergine velvet with some shrinkage evident at the perimeter of the underside.
    The three original feet good with one foot replaced and well-integrated.
