fourth quarter 19th century, Continental, including a satyr riding a ram, on a red griotte marble base, h. 6", w. 5-1/2", Asclepius, the god of medicine, wrestling a serpent, on an onyx base, h. 11", w. 4", "Flying Mercury", after Giovanni da Bologna (Italian, 1529-1608), an infant Hercules wrestling with serpents, h. 7", w. 3-1/2", and a figure of an archer, after Otto H. Riese (German, 1851-1910), mounted on a marble plinth and signed on the side of the base, h. 10-1/2", w. 3-3/4".


  • Condition: **In overall good condition with scattered nicks, rubbing to surface, abrasions, surface scratches, and dulling of patination - all consistent with age, material and usage. Statue of Hercules with old repair to serpent's head. Marble bases with small losses to edges.
