  • Condition: **Collection is in overall good condition. The octagonal tea caddy has been enhanced with red coloring/stain; the inside of the lid has new velvet lining, and the inside of the case has been re-silvered. The metal escutcheon has been replaced with a mother-of-pearl one. There are small filler repairs at the edges and corners. Tea caddy has a few snags and breaks to its metal stringing. There is a blister on the left edge of the lid, and some minor scattered scratches throughout.

The walnut etui has all its pieces. There is a slight dent/bend in the rim that makes it difficult to fully close it. Exterior has some light soiling.

On the two slanted boxes, one has a few scattered losses to its edges, age cracks to its white inside rim, and is lacking a few of its slotted interior compartments. The other box has a crack and some tiny repairs to its corners/edges.
