Continental Faux-Marbre Pedestal, early 20th century, of possible ecclesiastical origin, the square top above a conforming standard with four corner Corinthian columns, raised on a molded square base, h. 42", w. 24", d. 24".

  • Condition: Scattered flaking and losses to the painted surface. Other wear and stains from age and use. Chips and losses to the top edges and corners. A number of pitted areas and holes to the top as well. Appears to be made of some sort of plaster and cast with fibers and possibly horse hair for strength. Very good looking, with old patina.
