Continental Oak Side Table

late 19th century, the banded rectangular top with a gadroon edge, above a conforming frieze fitted with a single drawer with scroll carving and centered by a masque, raised on tapering fluted legs joined by a shaped urn-centered stretcher and ending in toupie feet.

  • Condition: **In overall very good condition, with minor shrinkage, rubbing and wear consistent with age and use.

    Tight and sturdy. The drawer slides freely.

    There are shrinkage gaps at either end of the top panel, where the panel joins the framing boards. At one of those seams, there is some filler with losses.
