including "Child's Head" and "Putto Holding a Book", each graphite on laid paper heightened with chalk, the former unsigned, the latter indistinctly signed and marked lower margin "Custarini"(?) with collection stamp for Pierre Crozat (Lugt 474), and "Michael Davis, Richmond Surrey" shipper label on frame with "Hamilton House" listed as client; together with "Bacchic Infant", sanguine conte on paper, unsigned and inscribed en verso [Collezione] "Maria Luisa Lilia Mendes di Bernasconi/1977".
Each matted, glazed and framed.

  • Provenance: The Collection of the Late Dr. E. Ralph Lupin, New Orleans, Louisiana.
  • Condition: **Child's Head: with a few spots of rust-colored foxing. Putto: is laid down, has two tiny losses to the lower right corner and edge, and a smudge to the lower left corner; other corners and edges with a few small creases. All three drawings have light toning to paper and a few specks/spots of foxing as is to be expected with age and material. In overall good condition.
