Continental Walnut and Fruitwood Cabinet

mid-19th century, the ogee-molded cornice above two tri-paneled glazed doors, opening to a shelved and mirrored interior, flanked to either side by a pilaster with an inlaid elongated Gothic arch, the sides also glazed, raised on a plinth base.

  • Condition: **In good restored condition, exhibiting past veneer repairs, some with filler, shrinkage, mars, abrasions and indications of age and use.

    The case appears to be tight and solid.

    Doors open and close freely. Lock is present; key is not.

    One small veneer loss to bottom edge of front base, about 3/4" by 1/2". A similar loss on the bottom of one return, and a few on the base of the other return.
