Custom David Easton "Couture Arm" Three-Piece Sectional Sofa

20th century, made by A. Schneller, New York, a voluptuous example with elegant scrolling back and arms, having three seat cushions and three back cushions, the skirt with pleated corners, raised on walnut-stained curved and block feet, upholstered in blush silk faille trimmed with silk tape, the cushions include cord-piped off-white linen zippered slipcovers.

    Notes: Cleverly constructed in three separate sections to maneuver the typically small confines of elevators in early 20th-century Upper East Side, Manhattan, buildings. The three sofa sections are pegged together when in place.
  • Condition: **In generally good condition with a sturdy frame.
    The elegant scroll arms and backs are in good condition on both sides with luscious cushions inviting the browser to have a seat and to "settle in".
    The faille fabric with cat-claw shredding at the interior front corners of two seat cushions, otherwise good.
    The custom linen cushion slipcovers are in good condition with scattered light soil.
    The lower interior portions of the three individual sections are partly upholstered. It is unnecessary to fully upholster the lower portions as they fit securely together when in place.
