Detailed Model of a Three-Masted Frigate
mid-20th century, called a third-rate frigate for the number of levels of gunports, this example with a copper-clad lower hull, ebony and stone alternating on the remainder, with carved details of the figure heads, flying a French flag, with a custom display case.

Condition: **Some of the small embossed copper panels that cover the lower half of the ship have come off. Many are present although some may be missing. A small marble side panel also gone, approximately 1" x 1". It appears that there was once a figurehead. Some of the elements have come loose. Very detailed throughout.
