Dutch Mahogany and Marquetry Display Cabinet, late 18th century, the molded and domed cornice above a case fitted with two astragal-glazed cupboard doors opening to a shelved interior, the sides glazed en suite, the lower section fitted with two paneled cupboard doors, raised on bun feet, the whole richly inlaid in floral, avian and foliate marquetry patterns, h. 88-1/2", w. 67-3/4", d. 14-1/2".


  • Condition: There are some old shrinkage cracks and glued repairs to the crown molding. Some separation to the mitered corners of the crown molding. Small old pieced repairs along the door frames. There is a chunk gone to the left side of the mid-molding. The left rear leg is cracked and has veneer loss. The right rear leg with veneer chips. Scattered other shrinkage and imperfections from age. Great overall patina.
