marked Rotterdam, 1763, old standard (.875) silver, the maker's mark rubbed, of bulbous oblong form with domed, hinged cover and large foliate knop finial, fluted corners and sides, and rocaille feet, decorated with repousse mascarons and swags on a stippled ground.
