Early Spanish Cedar Paneled and Carved Cabinet

17th/18th century, the front with two doors, each with deeply carved panels and opening to an interior fitted with shelves, the ends paneled as the front, the doors mounted with forged rat-tail hinges.

  • Condition: **In overall good condition, exhibiting normal shrinkage, abrasions, minor losses, rubbing and wear consistent with age and use.

    Sturdy and functional. The base appears to be later. The cornice appears to be an older restoration.

    The doors open and close freely. One door is missing its half of the latching hardware. The interior is fitted with three shelves.

    The back appears to be a later replacement.
