Provenance: Manheim Galleries, New Orleans, Louisiana, 1980s; Estate of Cheryl Barousse Frischhertz, New Orleans, Louisiana.

  • Condition: **In overall very good condition. The surface exhibits minor wear, shrinkage and indications of age and use.

    Tight and solid.

The marble top has some areas of filler that appear to be professionally executed. One side edge of the top exhibits a number of chips.

All locks are present. There are keys for the side drawers and center drawers. The lower doors are locked and lacking a key. One gilt-bronze escutcheon is missing a brad, and is now loose.

There is a veneer loss to the rail between two of the side drawers, about 1/2" x 3/4". There are some veneer repairs and colored-in losses along the bottom edge of the base.
