  • Condition: Tight and solid, with no apparent past breaks or repairs. Light wear and rubbing to finish. NOTE: The wood in this chair has the density and weight of rosewood, but grain that more nearly resembles mahogany. If it is from the rosewood family, it is not one of the common varieties such as Bolivian, Brazilian or Honduran. It may be another unrecognized tropical hardwood.
