Fine English Mahogany Breakfront Vitrine, ca. 1900, in the Chinese Chippendale taste, with carved astragal-glazed doors and pierced fretwork galleries, raised on a base adorned with blind fretwork-decorated legs and aprons, h. 89", w. 69", d. 17".


  • Condition: In overall nice condition. A few minor breaks, signs of repair and losses to the fretwork cornice. One finial missing on the right backside. Five of the existing finials missing their tips. Various small cracks to the mullions. Lacking one carved floret on the left door molding. Surface scratches throughout, from age and use. Sturdy, and displays well.
