Five-Piece Chinese Export Porcelain Garniture Set, fourth quarter 18th century, decorated in the Mandarin pattern, in the famille rose palette, comprised of five vases, each with carefully rendered panels, both obverse and reverse, the panels with raised edges on a field of raised stippling with scattered Chinese ornament, h. 11" to 11-1/4", w. 4-1/4" to 4-3/4".


  • Condition: In overall good condition with scattered firing anomalies and a few small (1/4" and smaller) kiln cracks, some tiny nicks and abrasions along the lip of each vase, light wear to surface enamels and losses to gilding, particularly around the mouth rim of each vase consistent and expected with age, material and gentle use and display. One shouldered vase with an old professionally restored interior mouth and underside.
