Fourteen Pieces of Reed & Barton "Francis I" Sterling Silver Tableware

the pattern designed in 1907 by Ernest Meyers, Taunton, Massachusetts, including a dozen service plates and a pair of bread trays.

  • Condition: **One plate has some surface scratches on the plateau and another has four small dimples, but otherwise are in very good condition with very minor surface wear. Each marked (on the underside) "Reed & Barton / Sterling / X563 / Francis I"; no date marks. The bread trays show slightly more wear and one has some wear to the details in relief, but both are still in quite good condition with no dent, breaks, repairs or significant scratches noted. Each marked (on the underside) "Reed & Barton / Sterling / X568 / Francis I"; one with date mark for 1950, the other for 1952.
