Notes: New Orleans Auction Galleries would like to thank Mr. Graham who provided this additional information: "These pictures are of Polperro, Cornwall, UK, which is where Cook lived. One is called 'The Jew's House', a local landmark house, and the other is a harbour scene. He was a Fireman Artist in WW2. His pictures of WW2 bombings of London in the Blitz are held in the Imperial War Museum of England."
