French Beaux-Arts Robustly Modeled Bronze Four-Light Hall Lantern, first quarter 20th century, the cylindrical lantern mounted in a bronze frame pierced in a Greek wave pattern, with torch-molded supports on the vase-molded standard, with a leaf-molded canopy, h. 35", w. 21".


  • Condition: Handsome lot in overall good condition. Retains much of the original gilt surface. All beveled glass panels in place. One panel has an old loss at one corner (approximately 1-1/2" x 1"); another panel missing the tip of one corner. One side has two later additional pivoting interior supports for the glass with the larger loss. One leaf on the canopy very slightly bent upward. Electrified.
