  • Provenance: Collection of Allain Bush, New Orleans, Louisiana.
  • Condition: **In "as found" condition. Structurally sound. Original polychrome-paint largely intact. Base with overall flaking, paint and surface chips. The proper right forearm has chipped fingers and lacks an element, which was being held. Faces with minor flaking paint areas and hair with flaking. Small losses to fingers on child. The back of the Virgin figure has an open crack down the torso. Linen clothing is in tatters with losses. Original patina overall.
