French Neo-Grec Gilt-Bronze and Majolica Mantel Clock

fourth quarter 19th century, the inverted, fluted cobalt sides with gilt and "jewels", the urn-form finial decorated with turquoise molded oak leaves and acorns on a cobalt ground, with bronze handles, the dial with hand-painted amorini.

  • Condition: **In overall very good condition. The porcelain appears fine with no damage. Very minimal wear to the gilding. The metal is very well cast with excellent detail. We are uncertain as to its running condition; however, the movement looks clean. The winding key and pendulum are present.
