French Patinated Bronze of "Ete", first quarter 20th century, after Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse (French, 1824-1887), cast signature along edge of self-base, h. 28-1/4", w. 9-1/2", d. 8-1/4", together with a carved and gilt-accented wooden cluster-column plinth, h. 44-3/4", overall, h. 73". A plaque attached to the front of this sculpture reveals it was presented by the Association Polytechnique to Monsieur E. Girard, a Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur in 1900.


  • Condition: Condition as noted: In overall very good condition with faint scattered nicks and areas of rubbing. Deep golden brown patina.
