Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Tray, with the Jensen 1925-1932 mark, Copenhagen, pattern No. 251B, designed by Johan Rohde (1856-1935), of oval form, with "bobbin" ram and scroll-mantled conical gadroon-mounted ebony handles, l. 21", w. 13-1/4", 56.56 t. oz.
- Condition: Overall Condition: Good. Scattered surface scuffs, scrapes and pips consistent with age, but no dents, breaks or repairs noted. Some loss to the details at the highest relief. Ebony handles good with no splits. Marked (on the rim) with the Jensen crowned "GJ" trademark in use 1925-1932, also with "GI/925/S" in a pelleted oval, the conjoined "JR" designer's mark of Johan Rohde, the pattern number 251/B and "Denmark/Sterling".
