George III Mahogany Architect's Table, late 18th century, the rectangular top hinged and with an adjustable easel back, above a frieze fitted with a single end drawer, the underside fitted with a circular candle slide to either side, raised on a turned columnar standard to three splayed legs ending in pad feet, h. 32", w. 32", d. 22".
- Condition: In good "as found" condition. There are old shrinkage cracks to the top writing surface. One of the lip holders for documents is lacking a dowel. Both side edges of the hinged lid have brass hardware presumably for a lamp attachment. Good color and patina.
