  • Condition: In very good refinished, polished and restored condition. The piece is very solid, tight and stable. The top exhibits a tight shrinkage crack extending in about 20" from the outside edge. It is now reinforced by the addition of boards affixed to the underside of the top. Some good-quality veneer repairs to banding and stringing. Both sides exhibit some shrinkage cracks, now filled, with indications of some movement around the cracks. Drawers open and close smoothly. The brasses are of the period and appear to be original to the piece. Original locks are present; key lacking.
