George III Mahogany Tripod Table

early 19th century, the tilting floriform top with a dished edge, and raised on a turned and graduated standard to three cabriole legs headed by acanthine carving and ending in foliate feet.
h. 27", dia. 29"

  • Condition: **In overall very good condition.

The table is sturdy and functional. Base solid at joints. The latch mechanism for the tilt top is functional.

The top has been cleaned in the past. It retains some scattered minor mars, abrasions, dings and faint residual water rings.

The base is in an old, heavy dark surface that appears to have been over-coated at some time in the past generation or so.
