George III Oak and Mahogany Tall Case Clock

ca. 1800, the hood with a swan's-neck broken arch pediment with brass rosettes, the painted dial bearing the name "J.__ Ferry, Richmond" with a brass time and strike movement.

  • Condition: **In "as found" condition. Old scattered repairs throughout. Shrinkage cracks. The base is lacking its lower molding and feet. The face is likely not original to the movement and the winding holes have been filled. Door hinges are loose. Old dark finish. Two mismatched weights and pendulum present.
