George III Oak Dresser

19th century, the banded rectangular top with canted corners, above a case fitted with two central cupboard doors flanked to either side by three drawers, over two long drawers, all banded, raised on ogee-molded bracket feet on casters.

  • Condition: **In overall very good condition. The surface exhibits a number of blemishes, minor mars, shrinkage and finish imperfections consistent with age and use.

    The case is very solid and sturdy. All drawers and doors open freely. Locks present for all; some drawer locks replaced. A key is present for the doors.

    The top exhibits a veneer loss to the perimeter banding at a back corner; the loss is about 3/8" x 1/2". There is some re-gluing at past separation to lamination seams in the top.
