19th century, in two parts, the superstructure with an arched handle over two small drawers and one long drawer, the rectangular top banded and above a single drawer opening to a baize-lined easel-backed writing surface, raised on tapering square legs joined by a concave stretcher and ending in ebonized feet.

  • Condition: **In overall very good condition. The piece exhibits indications of minor past repairs including filler and inpainting to the banding and stringing, normal shrinkage, mars and wear.

    Tight and sturdy. There is a straight shrinkage break at the front corner of the low shelf that should be glued.

    Locks present; no key.
