George III Sterling Silver Waiter hallmarked London, 1784-1785, by John Crouch & Thomas Hannam (fl. ca. 1779-1799), of circular form with reeded edge and three spatulate feet en suite, engraved with the arms of Seton impaling Graham, dia. 8-1/8", 12.60 t. oz.


  • Condition: Overall Condition: Good. Scattered moderate surface scuffs and scratches, with some wear to the engraving, all consistent with age and use. No dents, breaks or repairs noted. Hallmarked (on the underside) with: 1) the sterling lion passant; 2) the London crowned leopard's head; 3) the date letter "k" for 1784-1785; 4) the incuse George III bust duty mark; and 5) the "IC/TH" maker's mark of Crouch & Hannam. The maker's mark partially rubbed, the rest excellent.
