George III-Style Ebonized Cabinet, the breakfront top above a conforming case fitted with two central paneled cupboard doors flanked to either side by a like door, all with polychrome and gilt figural landscape scenes in the chinoiserie taste, raised on bulbous toupie feet, h. 38", w. 88", d. 22".


  • Condition: In overall very good condition with nominal wear and indications of age and use. Tight and solid. The top finish exhibits areas of alligatoring. It is not apparent whether it is by design. Cupboard doors open and close smoothly. Each cupboard is fitted with one shelf. They lack the pin hardware to hold the shelves in place. The outside edge of the right pilaster exhibits two small paint chips.
