George III-Style Mahogany Breakfront, 19th century, the molded cornice above an upper section fitted with four astragal-glazed doors, the lower section fitted with a central drop-front secretary drawer fitted with an inset leather writing surface and a variety of drawers and cubbyholes, flanking a central cupboard, over three long drawers, flanked to either side by a drawer over a paneled cupboard door, raised on a plinth base, h. 91-1/2", w. 73-1/2", d. 21".


  • Condition: There are some chips and minor imperfections to the mid-moldings on each end of the case. A large veneer chip to the front center base molding (off, but present). A scratch to the right side of the lower case. Small edge damage to the lower center case. A small repair to the front right corner of the overhanging molding of the center lower cabinet. Some beaded trim gone around the drawer edges. All of the glass is intact. Some keys present.
