George III-Style Mahogany Breakfront

late 19th century, the broken swan's-neck pediment above a conforming Greek-key-carved frieze with drop pendant spindles, over four astragal-glazed doors, the lower section with a serpentine front and fitted with three drawers over four paneled cupboard doors, all banded, raised on a conforming plinth base.

  • Condition: **In "as found" condition. There are a few small trim moldings that are loose. The lower left and right doors are slightly warped and have looseness at their hinges. Lacking its center finial. The brass keyhole inserts are missing from the left and right lower doors and the top left and right lower doors and the top left door. There is a small veneer loss to the center right lower door. Beautiful grain to the wood throughout with a pleasing patina.
