George III-Style Mahogany Dining Table, early 20th century, the rounded rectangular top with a molded edge, the middle section of drop-leaf form, raised on three pedestals, each with a ribbed baluster-form standard to three splayed and ribbed legs ending in brass caps on casters, h. 29", w. 56", l. 127". Provenance: The Estate of Elaine Smith Frost White, Houston, Texas and East Hampton, New York.


  • Condition: The assembled table is tight and solid. The top exhibits minor light scratches and surface imperfections. There is a professional repair to a splinter along the edge. The inside end boards of both sections, about 8" wide, are replacements. Their color and grain is slightly different than the rest of the top. Normal minor mars and wear to the bases.
