George III-Style Mahogany Side Table in the Irish Chippendale Taste, mid-19th century, the rectangular top with a molded edge, above a conforming plain frieze with a deep pendant apron centered by a masque, flanked to each side by scrolling foliate patterns, raised on cabriole legs ending in ball-and-claw feet, h. 31-1/2", w. 54-1/2", d. 24".


  • Condition: In very good condition. There is an old professional spliced-in repair to the lower portion of the right rear leg. The pendant below the carved face on the apron has been broken and glued back in place. The surface refinished at one time, but exhibiting a pleasing overall patina. The details throughout the aprons and legs are very well carved.
