Georgian Carved Giltwood Girandole Mirror

late 18th century, in the Chippendale taste, the richly carved surfaces water-gilded, the surround with crossetted corners, the tablet above the surround carved with a bowknot, the egg-and-dart swan's-neck pediment with a shell-carved finial framed with carved leaves, the shell-carved lower portion set with a pair of molded brass masque and flower-form candle arms.
